This shoe rack was incredibly easy to assemble. It took me less than 5 minutes to connect the wired shelves to the two end pieces. I leaned the end pieces against the wall which made the task easier to accomplish. The reason I'm rating this 3 stars is because the amount of space on the shelves is very awkward. It will only fit 3 pairs of shoes on each as stated in the description, but there is a gap large enough for 1 extra shoe. I tried both men's size 11 shoes and women's size 7 shoes, and the shelves still had that awkward-looking large gap. I wanted some in-between shoe space to accommodate larger sized shoes, but the gap is a bit strange.
Also, you may notice this in the image, but the middle of the shelves will start to bend downwards. The shelf is not the sturdiest material. I've had this shoe rack for 2 weeks and the middle of the racks are already starting to bend in the middle. This is inconvenient since the 2nd and bottom rack are holding my boots. Other than the awkward length of the shelves and the not-so-sturdy material, this is an OK shoe rack.
